K. Chrome Gallery is focused on creating a unique experience. Through focus and innovation we hope to change the way that art is viewed and consumed. Every piece of art can tell a story. Unfortunately, the way that story is told often falls flat. It is our goal to rewrite the language that is used. Galleries are stuffy wealth pits but they don't have to be. We hope to change the meaning to be a place where anyone can have their creative awakening.

Sean O'Connor : Founder

Sean O'Connor is an American glass artist based out of Sacramento California. Like many artist he found he found his passion young. Starting with stained glass, he quickly became consumed with the glass medium. After several years he made the transition to borosilicate glass blowing. There he spent over a decade honing his understanding of glass colors and his knowledge of how to manipulate the materials and tools. In late 2020 his resolve and dedication to the craft was tested. He was diagnosed with early onset arthritis in his hands and wrists. This new reality meant that his career in glassblowing was now reduced to a hobby. However, his passion did not wane. Over the next few years he began research and development on a new glass process that incorporated more machines to spare his body. In 2024 he cracked the code on what we now call "Dichro Stacks". A process of laser etching dichroic mirrors and laminating them to create a parallax image effect. This technique led to the creation of K. Chrome Gallery where we are still exploring the limits of this new process. Sean's passion and innovations continue to surprise and fascinate, and we here at K. Chrome Gallery are excited for what the future may hold.
